For Wessar, we developed an iPad app that turns music education on its head. The interactive SightRead4 tools train the brain to sight read music more fluently.

When the metronome is set the performance begins with the music appearing and disappearing bar-by-bar, forcing the player’s eyes to the right, thus encouraging continuity.

We’ve already launched over 2500 pieces of music for piano, strings and guitar players, with more on the way.

Without question, the ‘Wessar app’ deals with the matter of eye continuity brilliantly…and if teachers will use it as an ongoing teaching tool, then it will make an undoubted contribution in the teaching studio
